Today is Halloween, but we celebrated our spooky night on Saturday here at Fowlkes Point! We had a little Halloween party with just a few decorations, but A LOT of fun! Take a look!
Some of our decor:
We made punch using pineapple juice, ginger ale, vodka and triple sec. Then we added pureed strawberries to the top for a creepier look! We bought the adorable ghost piñata was purchased from Walmart so we could play "dizzy piñata." How to play: you must have a wiffle bat with the top cut out and a hole punched in the bottom. Fill the bat with beer, while plugging the hole with your finger, and then chug the wiffle bat beer. Once you're finished, place the bat on the ground and your forehead to the top of it and spin around 10 times, then attempt to hit the piñata. You will most likely fall and it is hilarious. But drink responsibly!
Also, on our bar area table are the Harry Potter potion bottles Christina and I made. We took one dollar bottles from Michael's, modge podge from Walmart and used printables you can find here and make your own! They are too cute! We just filled ours with water and food coloring, but I suppose you could use them in your drink station with mixers and such!

If you cannot already tell, I was Poison Ivy! And I made my costume out of an extra large t-shirt and ivy leaves from Michael's. I followed this tutorial.
Too much fun! I just LOVE Halloween!
